TableIQ licensing
TableIQ-owned application code is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License, version 3 only (AGPL-3.0-only). The same license applies to signed builds, unsigned builds, and prereleases.
Free to use does not remove the license obligations when modifying or distributing the software. The full license text governs those rights and obligations.
Third-party exceptions
Dependencies, database marks, and fonts retain their original licenses and notices. These exceptions describe separately licensed material; they do not create an additional linking or commercial-use exception for TableIQ-owned code.
- Complete exception and notice inventory
- TableIQ copyright notice
- Database mark provenance and Devicon MIT license
- Instrument Sans license and IBM Plex Mono license — SIL Open Font License 1.1
Unsigned preview builds
Unsigned previews use AGPL-3.0-only for TableIQ-owned application code. Their signing status changes macOS distribution trust, not the license. Preview releases include the installer, matching source archive, copyright and license notices, and checksums.
When sharing a preview with a teammate, share the complete release package so the source and notices travel with the installer. Unsigned previews are for local testing and are not notarized by Apple.
GitHub releases and source. The repository currently requires access; the license text and notices on this page are publicly readable.
Earlier releases
Versions previously released under Apache-2.0 retain their original permissions. This license change does not revoke or rewrite those grants. Check the license included with the version you use.
